Can I Hold You Now? A song for my beautiful wife, Flossie.
On the Inside My long time friend and band member, Walter Vanek, started this song but hadn't completed it. I liked the tune so much that I added my own lyrics to the tune. I wrote the lyrics with Walter in mind, making it a conversation between two friends. A few years ago I realized that the song could also be a father to daughter conversation so I re-recorded it as a duet with my daughter Erin.
Fly Away This song was inspired by and is dedicated to my younger brother, Eddie Cooney, who passed away in 2009.
The Proposal This is a song I wrote before I proposed to my wife, Flossie.
Hide Away A song I wrote while staying in Ocean City, MD when I was about 18 years old.
Came To Believe A song about the journey from doubt and skepticism to belief and faith.
